GoR Recycling Hub is a subsidiary institute of Ceylon Emerald Way (Pvt) Ltd.(CEW). CEW is a company registered under companies act 2007 of Sri Lanka and it has a limited number of local privet investors. CEW is involved in Cultivation projects, Environmental conservation projects, Tourism projects and Advertising projects in Sri Lanka.

The company has well experienced professionals and experts in many fields. As we know plastic waste has been a huge threat to the environment. According to literature, only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has been recycled globally. About 12% has been incinerated, while the rest 79% has accumulated in landfills, dumps or to the natural environment. As socially responsible citizens and a company, if we could contribute to overcome this problem by increasing the recycling capacity of waste plastics it would be a great help to protect the environment. We will have to give proper and smart solutions to reduce that 79% of waste plastics accumulated in the environment and to increase recycling of waste plastics.

We, GoR Recycling Hub are here to provide a solid solution for waste plastic disposal in Sri Lanka. As the first step of this journey we have started collecting every kind of plastic waste from public places, houses, hotels, hospitals, schools, government institutes and industries etc in Ratnapura district. Also we have set up a plastic buying centre (GoR Recycling Hub) located at New town, Ratnapura. We will add value to waste plastics and people can earn extra money even from household garbage.

in Sri Lanka.

We strive to

Convert all plastic waste in Ratnapura district and Sabaragamuwa province into recyclable plastics.
Create considerable number of direct and indirect job opportunities, and make opportunities to earn extra money for low-income families.
Encourage unoccupied poor women to earn money
Introduce comprehensive waste plastic collection mechanism for domestic used plastics by adding a value through our buying center or weekly collection practices by GoR.
Provide a better solution to disposal of waste plastics and polythene from Hospitals, Hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, schools, shopping complexes, government institutes etc by giving a better value for waste plastics
Provide a better platform to dispose all plastic waste at public places like, Bus Stands, Market places, Religious places etc.
Motivate current waste collectors from local authorities by adding value to recyclable plastics collected by them
Supply best quality raw materials for plastic goods Manufactures and Entrepreneurs
